An international conference on pediatric oncology is currently being held in Astana (Kazakhstan). The event was organized by the University Medical Center.
🇺🇿 Uzbekistan was also represented by Barno Abdusamatova, Deputy Executive Director of the Public Foundation for Child Support, who presented her reports on the role of public organizations in the prevention of pediatric oncology in Uzbekistan and their practical assistance.
A number of important topics were discussed during the conference: microRNA research in children, organization of palliative care, treatment of complications after high-dose chemotherapy, sepsis and septic shock, neuroblastoma immunotherapy, modern methods of treatment of transplant rejection.
