THE RESULTS OF THE FOUNDATION'S ACTIVITIES WERE SUMMED UP AT THE SUMMIT MEETING

Today, in our country, the state's social, medical, spiritual and economic support for every child is becoming a national movement and the main policy of the state. After all, there is a good saying among our people. ”The child will not be a stranger." Due to the fact that the head of state is not indifferent to the future of every child and creates opportunities for his healthy growth, the gratitude and consent of parents from the state is growing.

The Public Fund for Child Support, established in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 4, 2021 No. PP-5255 “on measures to organize the activities of the Public Fund for Child Support”, in a short time became the main reason for the joy of many families, the return of children in need of help to their peers.

  A meeting of the Committee on Labor, Health and Social Affairs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis was held today on the issues of “reviewing and discussing the results of the activities of the Public Fund for Child Support.” 

 At the meeting, it was noted that over the past period, the foundation has received 10,357 appeals to provide medical and social assistance to patients, disabled children from disadvantaged families who find themselves in difficult conditions. Of these, 7639 children underwent in-depth medical and diagnostic examinations. 1,070 children were operated on during medical events. And 110 children were operated on and rehabilitated in foreign clinics. 220 children received various assistance depending on their social status. The necessary literature, technical equipment, and school supplies for the education of 1,305 children have been purchased. And 33 children have completed vocational training and received the necessary equipment for self-employment.

 To date, the Board of Trustees of the Public Children's Support Fund has held 11 meetings, at which 231 issues were submitted for discussion. As part of the charity events in the regions, about 1,000 master classes were held for local specialists. During the visit of a Turkish group of highly qualified orthopedists, 470 sick children were examined, 25 of them on the basis of a diagnosis of congenital scaliosis and 40 - complex plastic surgeries that could not be performed at the national level.

 Also, an occluder (closure of an open arterial canal without surgical incision) for 30 sick children, oxygenators and 6 heart monitors for surgical procedures for 300 children with severe congenital heart defects in Samarkand and Ferghana regional children's multidisciplinary medical centers and the clinic of the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute were urgently transferred to the Children's National Medical Center.have bought. This led to the surgical intervention of 330 sick children with congenital heart defects. In order to care for premature babies and prevent disability, the republican perinatal center has purchased 20 cuvette devices. 

 Currently, genetic laboratory studies are being improved in the republic, and a number of orphan diseases are being identified. Considering that the medicines used for these patients are rare and very expensive, including those not provided for by the state program for the treatment of “osteogenesis imperfecta”, “Gaucher”, mucopolysaccharidosis and a number of other diseases, the Children's Fund pays special attention to the social protection of children with these diseases, the provision of medicines. In particular, telescopic rods and special surgical equipment were purchased to strengthen the bones of children diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta, of whom there are 50 cases of orphan diseases. In order to treat sick children diagnosed with Gaucher, the drug ”Glurazim“ (1.2 thousand dollars) was introduced into the republic for the first time.US$ per bottle).) Together with specialists from the Russian and republican specialized pediatric medical centers, medical practices are conducted on 10 sick children.

 Within the framework of the Skillful Hands project, together with the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment, 33 

 Children with disabilities aged 16-18 were taught and trained in the profession in "monocenters", as well as purchased equipment so that they could study independently at home. 1,500 sick children undergoing long-term treatment in hospitals received school supplies for use in lessons, 12 sets of literature and medical techniques for child rehabilitation, and 5 children received laptops and computers so that they would keep up with the curriculum during rehabilitation. 

 Social, educational, and medical programs provided by the public foundation have been developed and posted on the foundation's official website and electronic platform.

 Following the meeting, the committee members put forward proposals on the issues raised and their solutions, and appropriate decisions were taken.
