Representatives of international charitable organizations from Kuwait in Karakalpakstan: the first destination is Shumanai district

At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait and the Public Foundation for the Support of Children, a working visit of a delegation of heads of international charitable organizations from Kuwait to the Republic of Karakalpakstan was organized.

The first point of the visit was the Shumanai district.

The Kuwaiti partners got acquainted with social projects aimed at education, healthcare and providing the population with clean drinking water in the area.

In particular, the material and technical base of the Shumanai Vocational School was studied, and proposals were made for the complete renovation of the workshop for practical training and equipping it with modern equipment.

The gifted and exemplary students of the school and college were also presented with educational materials and souvenirs.

During the visit, an inspection of the condition of newly built and renovated outpatient facilities in the district was conducted, and issues of expanding opportunities for providing high-quality medical services to the population were discussed.

At the same time, a well drilling project was studied to provide the population with clean drinking water.

During the meetings, the possibilities of attracting financial support from Kuwaiti partners for the implementation of these socially significant projects were discussed in detail.

Because investing in education is the future, taking care of health is taking care of human life, and clean drinking water serves the well–being of the entire region.

Kindness knows no boundaries. Good initiatives change people's lives!
